General Event Terms and Conditions

The potential exhibitor (hereinafter referred to as "you") at any event hosted by Costica Events and Entertainment Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the company") SHALL comply with the following rules and regulations. You are deemed to have read all of the following terms and conditions upon registration for the event. Failure to comply may result in your ejection and forfeiture of monies paid to the company upon conclusion of the severity of noncompliance.

Exhibitor Rules & Regulations

1)

All participants must be above the age of 18, the company will impose a photo ID age verification prior initial entry to the event for all persons. Any participant discovered to be under the age of 18 will be refused entry with no restitution made.

2)

No person shall attend the event in any dress, attire, costume or accessory that is likely to be offensive to any race, religion, ethnicity or nationality and that may potentially cause disharmony amongst different groups. Examples of dresses, attires, costumes or accessories that are likely to be offensive to race, religion, ethnicity or nationality and that may potentially cause disharmony amongst different groups include any dress, attire, costume or accessory which associates or depicts:
i.    German Nazi or SS (Schutzstaffel);
ii.    Ku Klux Klan;
iii.    Suicide bombers;
iv.    Terrorists or terrorist groups;
v.    Any race, religion, ethnicity or nationality in a mocking or disparaging manner that may potentially cause disharmony amongst different groups.

3)

All costumes worn at the event must comply with article 2 above and the following or shall be denied entry until compliance is made:

i.   The person must be appropriately covered to the location when entering or exiting the event, exposure is not permitted outside of the event venue. Bikini for females and topless for males are permitted at venues at the beach or with a swimming pool.

ii.  No overly sexual or vulgar messages on costumes or cosplay equipment. ​

iii.   Costumes must have coverage of nipples for females and genitalia for both genders; nipple tapes and plasters on their own are not considered appropriate coverage and should only be used as final barriers.

iv.  No exposure of all genitals.
iv.   No overly sexual or vulgar messages on costumes or cosplay equipment.

v.   Proper beach attire that is socially acceptable shall be worn, clauses 3-ii, iii, iv and vi shall be used as reference in events of disputes.
vi.   No exposure of nipples and or full breasts, in the case of female character cosplay. Refer to Annex A and B for compliance to Singapore Police Force guidelines: Public Entertainment Licensing conditions for public entertainment venues without beach or swimming pools.

4)

No pornography is permitted for sale or in possession in the event.

5)

Real weapons, artificial weapons, sharp objects, metal prop objects are not permitted in the event. Items not in compliance must be left at the front desk at the entrance of the event. Costica shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage. 

 

  • Transportation and Handling: Visitors must be mindful of their surroundings and avoid alarming the public with cosplay props. Cosplay props, particularly those resembling weapons, should be transported to and from the event in a covered bag (e.g., a rifle bag for replica firearms or a cloth sheath for swords). These props should only be taken out once inside the event area or for inspection.

  • Material Requirements: Permitted cosplay props must be made of soft materials and should not be capable of harming any person or object during normal use.

  • Prohibited Items: Replica edged weapons (e.g., swords, daggers, throwing weapons) made of metal, regardless of length, are not allowed at the event, even if the cutting edges are blunt.

  • Safety Measures: Any item capable of discharging a projectile must be rendered safe. This includes functional bows and crossbows with tensioned strings. Nerf guns should be unloaded and/or have their batteries removed.

  • Carrying Props: When walking around with cosplay props resembling weapons, do not carry them in an aggressive manner (e.g., shouldering rifles, placing fingers inside trigger guards, raising swords, etc.). If possible, carry firearms with fingers away from the trigger and pointed downwards, and keep bladed weapons sheathed. You may present your cosplay prop when posing for a photo or video.

Visitors creating disturbances or nuisances in the event area will be ejected from the event with no restitution made.

7)

Accessible paths within the event shall not be obstructed for safety purposes.

8)

Photography equipment obstructing entrances, exits, and walkways inside the event venue and photography equipment with tripod stands or equivalent are not permitted.

9)

Visitors are prohibited to record videos or LIVE Stream (exception for live streaming is made within the designated booths for exhibitors) at prohibited zones within the event (exhibitor booths).

10)

Visitors are not permitted to access the electrical points at the venue.

11)

No pets are allowed within the event.

12)

Visitors shall not bring food, packaged or unpackaged from other venues into the event. In the case of drinks, only bottled water is allowed. No outside food is allowed.​

13)

Respect shall be given to all who cosplay within the event. There shall be no abusive behaviour or invasion of privacy without prior consent. Permission shall be sought from subject person before taking photos/videos. The organising team reserves the right to examine any photographic or videographic device in dispute and rectify disputed situations. Serious offenders may be ejected from the event with no restitution made.

14)

Visitors to the event are expected to cooperate with prevalent local government measures against infectious diseases.

15)

Visitors to the event should inform the Staff at once of any unusual occurrence or violations of the rules and regulations.

16)

Exhibitors are expected keep their personal or work area clean and return provided items to the company as close to initial state.

17)

Exhibitors are allowed to offer “fan services” but shall maintain a minimum distance of 30 cm from genitalia contact with customers.

 

No sexual related services are permitted for sale or to be performed. Exhibitors are not permitted to sit on or beside on visitors.

​

The organising team reserves the right to halt offending services for the event duration.

18)

The company reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations when necessary for relevance, amendments will be communicated to you.
